Doodle Art
8th November...RIP Berol Pen
The last doodle with my favourite pen. Couldn't finish the doodle as much as I wanted due to the fact that the pen was so dry :( sad times for me. Will be scouring all pencil cases around the flat til I can pop out and buy a new doodle pen.
Flowers Doodle
A late night doodle with my favourite Berol doodle pen, although it seems to be running out...arghhh! Will have to beg/borrow/steal another one as I think it comes as part of a pack. Will be searching all stationary shops in High Wycombe to find a replacement.
World Doodle Challenge
My doodles now feature on the World Doodle Challenge website! See if you can find mine :)
Jungle Theme Doodle Canvas
A black and white canvas with a jungle/organic theme. I have been thinking I may change the background to be slightly darker to make the foreground stand out...well we'll see if I actually get around to doing that. Any suggestions?
Smaller Acrylic/Marker Canvases
Here are two more canvases of a similar nature but smaller in size. Both with Acrylic paint backgrounds and marker detail.
Canvas Doodles with Acrylic colour
I decided I wanted to make something of a little substance rather than simple ballpoint pen on bits of paper, these are a couple of my first canvas doodles with coloured backgrounds. They have a tribal feel as that is how my doodles started, a slight obsession with tribal tattoo patterns!
Larger Detail of this canvas:
1st November Scary TV Doodle
Doodling while sat in front of the TV. Inspired by Halloween...and my biro. Sat with the lovely Luke and my good chum Alex (ooe!) who are a part of my doodle along the spine and are the best people to watch TV with!
Space Adventure Canvas
This is the second canvas doodle of this idea as I gave the first to my Granddad. However, I liked it so much I wanted to make another. Ideas inspired initially by stars and swirl patterns that turned into a 'Space-like' themed picture with alien-looking shapes here and there (that actually remind me of Vermicious Knids from Chalie and the Great Glass Elevator by Roald Dahl). Enjoy.
28th October Train Journey Doodle
Sat on a Chiltern Railways Train from High Wycombe to Leamington Spa and back again drawing with my favourite Berol fine felt tip! A great day with Laura and a fun doodle to come out of it. Drawings inspired by teaching my Year 4s a topic on 'A Village in India', exploring Rangoli, henna and organic shaped patterns. |
